Known as the "Church of the Pioneers" we have a history as old as Middletown itself. When the town was plotted in 1871, ground was set aside and a small wooden church was built by the first settlers. By 1890, the original church was too small, and plans were made to replace it with a stone structure, which was dedicated on October 9, 1893. It still stands as landmark and an active center of worship.
